• Our Nurse supervisors visit the homes at no charge to help set up the care plan, then to observe how the care is going within the first 30 days, and they continue to visit at regular intervals but no less often than every fourth month to ensure quality care.
• Our employees are allowed regular performance evaluations with client participation and input to the outcome.
• Employees are competency tested and backgrounds are checked by SLED and other agencies prior to hire.
• Employees are screened for TB prior to going into your home and again annually.

Not all home care providers are monitored by state surveyors. We are! Don't put your loved ones at risk. Even some health care providers that are monitored may be using independent contractors instead of their own employees: you become the employer with all the risk and responsibilities of having an employee in your home.

Nightingale's Nursing & Attendants caregivers earn competitive wages so that we can attract the best individuals in the community. Nightingale's offers full benefits and up-to-date training for all employees with a family atmosphere, because happy well-trained attendants provide the best care for our clients. Yet, we keep our administrative overhead to a minimum in order to be the wisest financial alternative for our clients and their families.

We do not provide you with independent contractors! It is very important to understand that our employees really are our employees. This ensures your protection as many self-hired employees could prove to be dishonest or are involved in an accident in your home. Please be careful when hiring someone on your own; they will be your responsibility as you are their employer. Hiring aides privately outside of a reputable agency may have significant consequences, which is why all Nightingale's employees are not independent contractors.

Medical Insurance

Nightingale's Nursing & Attendants works with many insurance companies and other third party payers. We also accept payment by credit card. We are providers of CLTC, HASCII, and DSN.
